Our NanoJet Free Standing Printer can be equipped with a 2 W blue-light laser that enables precise laser sintering of aerosol-printed materials.
Because the laser delivers energy locally, conductive traces can be sintered without exposing the entire substrate to high temperatures making it possible to metallize temperature-sensitive materials like plastics.
The laser can be used either as a post-processing step or simultaneously during printing, expanding the range of materials and applications that aerosol printing can support. This localized processing also enables more ambitious capabilities such as micron-scale 3D printing of metallic structures.
